JINXI Group and KOHE held a signing ceremony

On April 26, 2019, Beijing time, JINXI Group and KOHE held a signing ceremony for the joint venture establishment of JK Spundwand Systeme GmbH, a European International Sheet Pile and Green Foundation Engineering Company.

This joint venture marks the collaboration between JINXI Steel andKOHE following the establishment of the world's largest sheet pile and section steel production base in 2017. The aim is to provide green and environmentally friendly one-stop international sheet pile systems and green foundation engineering solutions and technical services for customers at home and abroad.

This joint venture signifies that JINXI Steel, as the world's largest production and application base of steel profiles, will have the advantages of the whole industrial chain of research and development, production, design and construction in the field of assembled steel structure buildings, and will also have the advantages in the field of international sheet piling and green foundation engineering.


Mr Xu Mingwang, Executive Deputy General Manager of JINXI and Chairman of JINXI Steel Sheet Piling Technology Co., Ltd, and Mr Wolfgang Gerhard, Executive Director of KOHE Germany, signed the joint venture agreement on behalf of both parties.

MrZhu Jun, Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of China Oriental Group; MrYu Lifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Jinxi Company; MrZhang Chunhui, Vice General Manager of JINXI Company and General Manager of Jinxi Sheet Piling and Steel Technology Co. Ltd.; Ms Han Danmei, Executive Director of KOHE China; MrZhao Jiangwei, Deputy General Manager of KOHE SP, witnessed the signing of the contract.

Hebei JINXI Steel Group, headquartered in Beijing, has more than 30 domestic and foreign holding companies in Tianjin, Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, etc. It is a large listed enterprise group integrating nine major sectors such as steel smelting, equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, international trade, financial leasing, JINXI investment, high-tech development, green real estate, and Longxiang culture. KOHE, with over 60 years of experience in designing and manufacturing metallurgical equipment in Germany, has been dedicated to providing one-stop services for special sections steel and section steel products for global leading steel groups. In the field of sheet piles, KOHE possesses a complete set of nearly 150 years of history of the German Hoesch brand, product technology, manuals, and corresponding calculation software. In 2011, JINXIgroup and KOHE cooperated to develop the JINXI Lassen sheet pile series products and launched them in the domestic and international markets, gradually replacing imported sheet pile products and becoming the leader in the sheet pile market, receiving the National Quality Investment Project Award and Scientific and Technological Achievement Award.

In 2017, the two parties cooperated to establish the world's largest steel sheet pile and section steel production base, with the largest sheet pile pairing line globally. The product range covers a wide range and can produce U-shaped steel sheet piles with specifications of 900mm, cap-shaped steel sheet piles with specifications of 900mm, Z-shaped steel sheet piles with specifications of 950mm, product lengths up to 36 meters, and pairing lengths up to 32 meters. It can also produce asymmetrical sky rail with a range of 1100mm, as well as king piles, super large steel, angle steel, rail beams, and other special section steel and section steel products, which can be produced according to Chinese, European, Japanese, and American standards.

The establishment of the European International Sheet Pile and Green Foundation Engineering Company by the joint venture in 2019 aims to provide one-stop foundation engineering solutions centered on green steel products such as sheet piles, king piles, and composite piles. The joint venture company, with "Hoesch Spundwand" as its product brand, will expand overseas markets based onKOHE Germany's European resources, overseas customer resources, Hoesch brand influence, and China's "Belt and Road" layout. It will introduce green foundation engineering solutions from Europe to enhance the technical application and standards of the domestic sheet pile market, bringing new experiences to users at home and abroad in fields such as municipal, water conservancy, railways, ports and docks, civil construction, civil defense, sewage treatment, embankment construction, flood prevention, and dike protection.

With the strengthening of awareness in the construction industry regarding environmental protection, land conservation, and natural disaster resistance, sheet piles with advantages such as high efficiency and environmental protection will continue to be widely used domestically and internationally. In the future, the joint venture company will continue to be market-oriented, continuously launching differentiated new products to create a new situation in the global market for sheet pile systems and green foundation engineering.
